How does a Credit Bureau get data?

There is one source of data as far as any of the credit bureaus is concerned:

• Lenders: Most of the data are provided by the lenders. Every lender you have borrowed money from, share your information with the credit bureau.

Every month, all lenders are required by Reserve Bank of India(RBI) regulations to report data in a certain format to all credit bureaus.
