Is a Co-signor/Guarantor/Co-applicant required for a Home Loan?

A co-applicant is someone who applies for the home loan where you sign as the primary applicant. When getting a home loan, the presence of a co-applicant is not required. However, all owners of the property must co-apply for the home loan.
